Award never stops pouring! Hinatuan is Red Orchid Hall of Fame Awardee
Hinatuan makes it three years in a row and earns the distinction as Red Orchid Hall of Fame Awardee from the Department of Health for its relentless campaign in prohibiting and penalizing cigarette smoking in public places.
Mayor Shem G. Garay expresses elation that the Municipality has been able to maintain its tobacco-free environment campaign and recognized by the Department of Health for three (3) consecutive years (2016, 2017 & 2018).
The Red Orchid Award is an annual search for 100% Tobacco-Free Environment among different administrative levels (national, regional, provincial, city, municipal).
