When from Manila

From Manila, you can fly to Butuan Airport. Upon arriving at Butuan Airport, you can board a passenger van awaiting at the parking lot to Mangagoy (Bislig). You can also proceed to Butuan Integrated Bus Terminal in Langihan Road (ride a multi-cab with R4 signboard) and take a bus going to Mangagoy (Bislig). Tell the driver to drop you off at Hinatuan Terminal. Travel time is about 4-5 hours.

When from Davao

From Davao (Davao Integrated Bus Terminal in Ecoland), take a bus going to Butuan City. Drop off at San Francisco (Agusan del Sur) Terminal. From there, take a bus going to Mangagoy (Bislig) and ask to be dropped off at Hinatuan Terminal. Travel time is about 5-6 hours (Davao-San Francisco) and roughly 2 hours (San Francisco-Hinatuan). There are also buses en route Mangagoy (Bislig) via Cuevas-Bislig Road. From Mangagoy (Bislig), ride a bus to Butuan City and drop off at Hinatuan Terminal. Travel time is about an hour.

Note: If you plan to proceed to Enchanted River and other destinations beyond Enchanted River, drop by at Hinatuan Tourist Assistance Center (near the Hinatuan Bus/Jeepney Terminal) for any inquiry. Hinatuan has accommodation establishments which can accommodate tourists at reasonable rates.

St. Augustine Church
The more than a century-old St. Augustine Church is a replica of the church of Baguio City for the same architectural design. It stands across another century-old Municipal Hall which reflects the old Spanish government influence in the town of Hinatuan.

The heart of the local government – the Municipal Hall which houses the LGU offices imperative for implementing government services led by the Municipal Mayor.

Hinatuan is the home of the lone PAGASA Synoptic/Doppler Radar Station in Mindanao which provides a modernized weather forecasting system.
